Terms of Service
By using Timer Design ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The service

2. Account
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One person, one account. Shared accounts are not supported.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Your data
- You own all data you create in Timer Design (sessions, journal entries, notes, labels).
- You can export your data at any time in JSON or CSV format from the Dashboard.
- You can switch to Local mode to keep all data exclusively in your browser.
- We encrypt your content with AES-256-GCM in Cloud mode. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service.
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for any data loss caused by downtime.
6. Local mode
In Local mode, all data is stored in your browser's localStorage. We cannot access, recover, or back up this data. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, Local mode data is lost. This is by design, not a defect.
7. Intellectual property
The Timer Design application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. Your use of the Service does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property. Your content remains yours.
8. Termination

10. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
